Threat and Vulnerability Assessment
Threats and hazards may derive from internal and external human adversary actions; by criminals, activists or terrorists; natural and man made hazards or catastrophic natural disasters. Our team will work with you to identify your key assets and critical business functions and determine their vulnerability to internal and external threats. This is achieved through the conduct of a Threat and Vulnerability Assessment, which is followed by the delivery of a comprehensive report which will provide a range of options to mitigate the identified risk.
What differentiates Alternative Analysis from other security consultancy services is the use of red teaming and alternative analysis techniques to provide a more accurate and thorough understanding of your threats, vulnerabilities and overall risk. This analysis from a threat perspective is a unique capability offered in Australia by Alternative Analysis.
Tier 1 Red Teaming
Tier 1 Red Teaming is unobtrusive and includes: – Review of organisation web presence and exposure of critical information; – Review of organisation staff presence on social media and whether this potentially exposes personnel or the organisation to risk; – Protective Security Threat and Vulnerability Assessment
Tier 2 Red Teaming
Tier 2 Red Teaming (includes all of Tier 1) – plus a more detailed Protective Security Threat and Vulnerability Assessment which could incorporate testing of existing security policy, procedures and equipment. Attempts will be made to breach security in an open way.
Tier 3 Red Teaming
Tier 3 Red Teaming (includes all of Tiers 1 & 2) plus involves active attempts to breach security in a covert manner. Normally only the CEO and local emergency services are advised of the exercise.

We generally offer three tiers of service as shown above. We can of course also work with clients to provide a more organisation specific service using a combination of elements from all tiers if required.

Licenced Security Professionals
Alternative Analysis holds a Security Master Licence in NSW and Security Consultant/Advisor Licences in NSW, QLD, VIC and WA.
